Pinnacle Rock
If you cleared the forces of Order from Pinnacle Rock during the Main SI Quest, it will already be on your map. Otherwise, it will be added. Go there and find Dylora waiting at the door.
A new Syl
If Syl was the traitor that let Order into Pinnacle Rock, then Dylora already knows you. If not, you're meeting her for the first time, but as Lord Sheogorath, you still get respect.
Syl's body is at Pinnacle Rock so that the Mazken can attempt to revive her, although they fail because she is mortal. Their reason for wanting to do so depends on whether she was deposed as Duchess, or turned traitor. They either feel residual loyalty, and want to return her (in a lesser role) to the court of Dementia, or else hatred for the traitor, and wish to toture her in revenge.
As their attempts to revive her at the Wellspring have failed, they have no issue with taking her body to the Palace for yours, especially after you tell them that she will become a new person with her new heart.
Notes
- They have done a very good job in repairing the physical damage to her body, and you won't see a mark on it.
- The Wellspring only works for Mazken, as the corresponding one at Brellach does for the Aureals. Syl is a Bosmer

- Notes
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
- If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
- On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering
setstage quest stage. Wherequestis the internal name of the quest, andstageis the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
