Detailed Walkthrough

Fish

After Sand-in-his-Ears askes you to do so, kill all six Slaughterfish in the bay, then retun to him. He'll now show you where the tunnel entrance is.

Notes

• If you need them, there are three Strong Potions of the Sea (Water Breathing) in a chest in the wreck.
• Like the "Go Fish" quest in the vanilla game, the fish spawn one at a time and the quest arrow shows where the next one is. They like to lurk at the bottom of the lagoon.

10		The Argonians in the wreck have asked me to clear the slaughterfish from the bay, so that it's safe for them to dive for clams again. They hint that there's more beneath the bay than fish and clams.
20		I've killed the first of the Slaughterfish that invaded the bay.
30		I've killed a second Slaughterfish.
40		I killed a third Slaughterfish in the bay.
50		I killed a fourth Slaughterfish. How many more are there?
60		That's the fifth Slaughterfish dead. Are there any more?
70		A sixth and hopefully final Slaughterfish dead. I should return to the Argonian couple.
100	0	The bay is clear of Slaughterfish, and Sand-in-his-ears has agreed to show me the entrance to the tunnel.

Notes

• Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
• Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
• If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
• On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage quest stage. Where quest is the internal name of the quest, and stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
