GUIDE TO SENCHAL
Senchal old and new

The largest port city in all Tamriel, even after most of the population was hit by the Khanaten Flu. While some parts are still abandoned, the remainder has been rebuilt and repopulated, and has found new life as a resort.

* The Ports of Senchall *
A great variety of shipping docks at the ports of Senchal, from opulent cruisers, to grimy common goods carriers, to pirate ships, and smugglers' vessels. There are warehouses along the docks for everything you could imagine, from all parts of Tamriel. Goods legal and illegal, expensive and cheap, all coming and going in great quantities. Much of this is available for sale in the nearby Merchants District

* The Merchants District *
Buy and sell anything you can imagine in the Senchal Merchants District. In the middle of town, equidistant from each of the docks, and filled with shops, stalls, and taverns.
This area was perhaps the quickest to be rebuilt after the Flu had passed, as it had most of the available gold. You can still find a few abandoned shops on the outskirts, but they are rapidly being re-opened as the city regains its former prominence.

* The Grand Casino *
One reason for the resurgence of Senchal was the opening of the Grand Casino. A combination of resort hotel, and gambling parlor, it appeals to all classes. The upper classes rent rooms there, but the middle class comes to gamble, and the lower classes find employment. The building is now a sprawling mixture of architectural styles, additions to additions, and has taken over much of the waterfront between the docks.
A small marina in front of the Casino is home to some of the most expensive sailing vessels you'll see anywhere. Many of the Casino's most wealthy patrons prefer to stay on their own ships, instead of renting rooms. It is not clear whether they do so for greater security, or the greater opulence of their cabins on board ship.

* The Black Keirgo *
This slum area was perhaps the hardest hit by the epidemic, but has not diminished in population,as more poor people seem to arrive every day to refill its teeming alleys. Many of these are Moon Sugar addicts, and sugar dens are common.
