Haskill
If you talk to any of the Palace staff about Syl, they'll tell you that she's only interested in getting her next spanking, and that none of them wants to do it for her. If you talk to Haskill, he will suggest that you visit Sheogorath's retreat in Mania, and ask the Aureal and Mazken there. He marks the location on your map, and provides a key.
Sheogorath's Retreat
The retreat is entered via a trapdoor at a small ruin near a lake, which is guarded by three leveled Hungers. The ladder takes you down to an underground pleasure dome, where an Aureal and a Mazken Playmate wait, with their pet Hunger, whose name is Slim. Each one will offer to train a male to spank Syl, and provide anything else she needs.
Pool of Reflection
You return to the Palace, and talk to Dyus, who suggests upgrading Syl's Crystal Ball. The Mazken and Aureal males to attend to Syl will have already arrived, and taken up their stations in the ducal apartments of Mania and Dementia. They have a few things to say about their tasks, and the training they received for them.
The water from the Pool of Reflection (where you obtained the wood for Sheogorath's replacement staff) would do the job of upgrading the Crystal Ball, so you set off for there, and fetch some.
There is no doppelganger this time, but the return route takes you through a section of root tunnel you didn't encounter the first time, with some Gnarls and Hungers to delay you.
Crystal Ball
Return to the palace and give the water to Dyus, who will fill the ball. Syl will now be able to see the Mania Gate and mark it on your map.
Notes
- The Playmates would not fit in the regular uniforms, and do not wear them.
- With their non-combat duties, they can grow their hair longer, too.
- Since the new Syl is not the Duchess of Dementia, she is free to visit either ducal palace to get her spanking. The Crystal ball belonged to the old Syl, and is in the Duchess' Quarters on the Dementia side.

- Notes
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
- If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
- On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering
setstage quest stage. Wherequestis the internal name of the quest, andstageis the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
