Detailed Walkthrough
Becoming blood-kin - if you are not an Orc - gets you a friend. This can be via the Forgemaster's Fingers quest, but note that several other ways to become blood-kin are listed below, and don't count twice.
At each of the Orc strongholds that has a mine, you can make a friend of the smith by digging ore for them. At Dushnik Yal, and Mor Khazgur, that is Orichalc, and it's Ebony at Narzulbur. In addition you can sell iron ore to Grogmar gro-Burzag at Shor's Stone.
The chief at several of the Strongholds will brawl with you and become your friend.
Ghorza gra-Bagol, and her brother Moth have quests you can do - Skilled Apprenticeship and Coated in Blood, respectively.
When Borghak the Steel-Heart becomes your follower, she also becomes your friend.
Gharol's Message - if you haven't already befriended her by mining ore.
You need to do any five of these after installing the mod.
Notes
- The quest counts Orcs befriended, not quest done, so doing a second quest for the same Orc does not advance the count. For example, digging ore at Dushnik mine, and delivering the sword to Lash at Karthwasten both befriend Gharol. However, you can dig ore (befriending the smith), and fist-fight the chief (befriending him) at each stronghold.
- When a mine hold more than one type of ore, only one is of interest to the smith.

- Finding them is your job!
Quest Stages
This quest does not appear in your journal. Each new Orc friend increases the global variable BYOSFriendsCountOrc
