My Skyrim character didn't like the look of the Archmage's Robes that she'd just been given, and asked me if she could just have an amulet instead. There were two ways to do that. A mod that lets the robe be disenchanted, so you could apply the enchantment to something else, or a mod that had it already applied to an amulet. Both were available, but neither had any safeguard to prevent multiple instances of the enchantment being used at one time. The amulets were pretty plain, too, and didn't really proclaim "Archmage".
So I made a new mesh, and a script that prevents two items with the same bonus from being worn together. If the player attempts to put on the amulet while wearing the robes, it replaces the robes, just like swapping between the hooded and unhooded versions of the robes would do. The enchantment cannot be learned from any of them. Now she can wear the robes, or just the amulet, as she prefers. Male characters have the same options. See the Fake Wiki page for details of the enchantment etc.
Mod as last uploaded to the Nexus.
Only released for LE
The readme has not been updated, so references to the Nexus site are obsolete. This is now the only legitimate source.
The mod is packaged as a BAIN archive, because I use Wrye Bash. That is compatible with other mod managers, but may require some extra work. I will NOT ve re-packaging any of my mods for other managers, especialy not Nexus ones.
