Rinnala is the daughter of Queen Morgiah and King Karoodil of Firsthold, in the Summerset Isle. Her brother is Goranthir.
She's at that age when Dunmer women are obsessed with sex. Her mother is sympathetic, having obviously gone through that stage herself, but still needs to keep an eye on her daughter to remind her that there are other things that need some attention, such as getting safely to Morrowind.
Morgiah has brought her to Cyrodiil to avoid the attentions of a group of Altmer known as "the Beautiful" who recently abducted the daughter of the King of Shimmerene. Her gruesome murder was intended to strike terror in the courts of the Summerset Isle, and it has had that effect in Firsthold, at least. It is not clear if Rinnala has been allowed to find about that incident, but Morgiah knows.
She's armed with a leveled shortsword, and carries an enchanted light iron shield for defense. She also has a spell or two available, as a spellsword should.
Notes
- Her upper garment is an attempt to reproduce the Long Shirt found in Daggerfall. The laced leather pants already are a close match to Daggerfall's tights.
