Strange urges

When you talk to Timo after you've entered the Aercane University, he'll tell you that he has strange urges to act like a wolf or dog, which all started after a wolf bite recently. Ask Gudrun and she'll tell you she quite likes his new "Doggy style", but the rest of his problem ought to be fixed.

Cure

She suggests you ask your friend at the Arcane University about it. That would be Tar-Meena, so you go and recount Timo's symptoms to her. She remembers that Beewos had the same disease, and it drove her mad before she could be cured. But there is time to make the cure for Timo.

She sends you to Julienne Fanis for the recipe and Bothiel also, as there's something she recalls about a full moon. Julienne needs Nightshade and meat (three kinds) to make the potion.

Timing

Bothiel checks her charts, and when you have gathered all the ingredients and given them to Julienne, she'll tell you that all you need to do is avoid giving Timo the potion when the moon is full.

You decide to let Gudrun administer the potion, as Timo may not be himself when the moon's full.

Notes

• The player needs full access to Julienne Fannis, Bothiel, and Tar-Meena at the Arcane University. So you must complete the recommendations before Timo will start this quest.
• If any of the girls are at the lodge, they'll agree with Gudrun that Timo's urges aren't all misguided.
• There are two moons, but only one cycle of phases to worry about.
• There are two forms of Lycanthropy. Greater Lycanthropy is also known as Hircine's Curse, and transforms the victim into a were-predator (usually a wolf). The Lesser form is an trick of Sheogorath's that just makes the victim believe they have the other form, and are becoming a wolf or dog.
• Beewos is a worshipper at Sheogorath's shrine. She remembers being a dog.

10		I've talked to Timo in the Rider's Lodge and he tells me that he was bitten by a wolf not many days back. The wound wasn't serious and was easily healed, but ever since, he's had strange urges to act like a wolf or dog. I'll ask Gudrun if she's ever heard of anything like that.
20		I should go into the city and ask Tar-Meena at the Mystic Archives about this strange disease. Perhaps there's something in one of the many books in the Archives about it.
30		Tar-meena has directed me to Julienne Fanis and Bothiel for more information on the Lesser Lycanthropy cure.
40		I have to collect raw meat for the cure (and Nightshade). Any three of Beef, Boar, Ham, Mutton, Rat, Venison or Daedra Heart will work. When I have them, I should take them back to Julienne Fanis and ask Bothiel about timing.
50		I have given Julienne the meat and Nightshade, and she's making up the potion for Timo. Now I need to ask Bothiel when he should take it.
60		Now I know when Timo should NOT take the potion, we can see about getting him cured. I should give the potion to Gudrun, so she can make sure Timo doesn't try and drink it at full moon.
71		(if the moons are full when you give the potion to Gudrun) Gudrun has the potion to cure Timo, I should return after the full moon and see if it worked.
72		(otherwise) Gudrun has the potion for Timo, I should return tomorrow and see if it worked.
80		It's time to find out if Timo has been cured of the Lesser Lycanthropy. I should return to the Lodge and ask him.
100	0	Timo is himself again, maybe better. Gudrun seems to think he's gained from the experience.

Notes

• Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
• Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
• If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
• On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage quest stage. Where quest is the internal name of the quest, and stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
