Haskill and Dyus

When you reach the Palace of New Sheoth, you find that Haskill has had Dyus brought there from his Knifepoint Hollow prison. That banishment ended with the previous Sheogorath, and you need his knowledge in the current crisis. Dyus regrets that your unpredictable nature has blunted his ability to predict the events in the Isles, but he thinks there is one who can supply the missing vision. However, Syl is dead.

A new Syl

Dyus and Haskill plan to rebuild Syl, for her ability to reason from insufficient data. With a new heart devoid of Paranoia, they believe she will be a different person, and one that can help them.

You need to get her body back from the Mazken at Pinnacle Rock, fetch Ciirta's other eye from the Howling Halls, and ask Relmyna Verenim for another heart for Syl, as well as her assistance in the rebirth.

The Tub of Rebirth

When you get back to the Palace with Syl's new heart, Herdir will announce that Relmyna has arrived and that he has assisted her in creating a Tub of Rebirth. This has been placed where the execution cage used to be in the House of Dementia's Torture Chamber, and Syl's body is already in it.

As soon as you reach it Relmyna will start the process. Just like rebuilding the gatekeeper, just simpler. When all the ingredients have been added, the tub reverts back to a cage, with the new Syl standing naked in it.

She vaguely remembers a previous life, and wonders if she was punished for 'being naughty'. She asks if she's being naughty now, not having any clothes on. When told that it's normal to be naked when you're born, or reborn in her case, she's a bit disappointed, because she was hoping to be spanked. You send her off to the Duchess' Quarters to get some clothes, where she finds an outfit in a closet that exposes her 'spankable surfaces'.

10 Dyus has informed me that we need to rebuild Syl to help with the current crisis. I should ask him and Haskill where her body went.
20 I have the eye, and the Mazken are returning Syl's body. I should ask Dyus if there's anything else he needs.
30 We have all we need to make a new Syl. As soon as Relmyna Verenim arrives, we can start the process.
50 (The rebuilding ceremony starts)
60 (The player is asked to add the eye of Ciirta to the tub)
65 (The player has added the eye.)
70 (The player is asked to add the new heart.)
75 (The player has added the heart.)
80 (Relmyna completes the rebirth of Syl.)
90 We have built a new Syl, hopefully a more balanced individual then the last one. I'd better talk to her and find out what sort of result we got.
95 (The new Syl goes to find some clothes.)
100 0Yes The new Syl has some vague memories of her past life, but doesn't seem to exhibit the same Paranoia. Perhaps we have a chance of success with the new version.
