Clark of Gweden

The fan fiction based on the Gweden Brothel mod was told from the point of view of an anonymous junior reporter from the Black Horse Courier, and initially consisted of the stories of the recruitment quests, as told to him by the women involved. There was some background narrative of his travel there, and interactions with the interviewees.

As the mod developed, so did the story, and the character of the reporter. He'd remained anonymous so far, but the mild-mannered reporter soon got the nickname of "Clark Kent", and it stuck, at least partly. He adopted the name Clark as part of the Cyrodilic witness protection program when he was targeted by the Thalmor for his part in saving Lathenil of Sunhold from assassination. By this time, he'd become a spy for the Elder Council, who financed the BHC, for which he nominally worked.

He continued to narrate the further stories of the Red Dragon Club ladies, and the pair of refugees he found in his basement when he bought a hide-away in the Imperial City Waterfront. The latter were part of another mod, that was never published.

Clark also appeared in Skyrim, telling the story there from a non-Dragonborn perspective. The actual Dragonborn was Diablita, one of the "twins" he'd found in the Oblivion mod. He did participate in a number of the quest-lines, but his apprentice Gilda became the Guildmaster of the Thieves' Guild, and Brelyna Maryon became the Archmage.

In ESO, he's adopted the styles he used in the other two games. His costume is reminiscent of the Shivering Isles Finery he wore in that game, and his sword-and-board use comes from both.
